Membership
Qualifications
Sun Federal Credit Union exists to serve its members, but
membership is not open to everyone. To join Sun Federal, you
or a family member must be affiliated with one of our
sponsor companies or you or a
family member must live, work, worship or attend school in one
of the communities that we serve.
Before you apply for membership, please verify that you or
an immediate family member is affiliated with one of our
sponsor groups or communities. View the
list here.
Sun Federal Credit Union is a
full service financial cooperative,
established in 1950. As a credit union, we are a
not-for-profit financial cooperative. We exist to serve our
members. We are owned by the members and exist for the use of
the membership. Our cooperative structure means that we do not
pay dividends to stockholders. Instead, all dividends are
returned to our members through better
rates and improved services.
Employees and retirees of the
sponsor groups (and their family
members) are included in Sun Federal Credit Union's field of
membership. Once joined, members may remain members for life.
As a member, you have the opportunity to utilize Sun Federal's
full array of convenient products
and services.
Our board of directors is elected from
within the membership by our members. Our directors serve as
volunteers. Learn more about Sun
Federal Credit Union.
